Disabling License Reservation

You can disable the license reservation in Secure Email and Web Manager .

Note	You can also disable the license reservation using the `license_smart` > `disable_reservation` sub command in the CLI.

Procedure

Step 1

Go to System Administration > Smart Software Licensing page in Secure Email and Web Manager .

Step 2

Click Change Type under the ‘Registration Mode’ field.

Step 3

Click Submit in the ‘Change registration mode’ dialog box.

Note

After you generate a request code and you disable the license reservation, the generated request code is canceled automatically.
After you install the authorization code and disable the license reservation, the reserved license is maintained in Secure Email and Web Manager.
If an authorization code is installed and the Smart Agent is in the Authorized state, it moves back to the ‘Unidentified’ (enabled) state.

The license reservation is disabled on Secure Email and Web Manager .
